206 Zulu: The Power of Rage
206 Zulu
March 8, 2020

All-Ages and FREE ADMISSION!

An all-day FREE “art bizarre” bazaar featuring local artisans; live performances, including talent from various youth groups and performing artists of all disciplines; and, culinary delights for purchase provided by some of your favorite local chefs.

The intent of this event is to promote acceptance of cultural, social, physical and racial differences; promote civic participation, raise awareness of the varying issues that currently cause unrest and to learn about and support the organizations that endeavor to bring forth awareness and resolution of these issues. All performances will have a social justice awareness theme.

On Sunday March 8th let’s all get together in support of one another, in celebration of our collective creativity, and recharge and resupply for all the good fights ahead.

TRUST, BELIEVE AND ACCEPT THAT YOU CAN MAKE A CHANGE. THE RAGE IS REAL, THE STRUGGLE IS ONGOING, BUT WE HAVE THE POWER!!

This project is funded in part by a neighborhood matching fund award from the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods – YAY!

*This event is produced in association with out fiscal sponsor Northwest Film Forum and by the “Power of Rage Community Group” a partnership of MlkyWy House, LLC, 206 Zulu, Cypher Café, Creative Justice, and Pongo Teen Writing.
