206 Zulu: Bobby Seale, Live in Community
206 Zulu
November 10, 2018

The honorable Bobby Seale, after speaking at the Youth Empowerment Summit, will speak again at a community event on the theme of “Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow”; where have we been and done, what are we doing now, and where are we going.

Bobby Seale is a political activist and co-founder and national chairman of the Black Panther Party.

Born in Texas in 1936, Bobby Seale is one of a generation of young Black radicals who preached a doctrine of militant black empowerment, helping found the Black Panther Party in 1966. In the 1970s, as the Black Panthers faded from public view, Seale continued working towards improving social services in black neighborhoods and other causes.

Suggested donation for the event at Washington Hall is $5+.
